As part of a new research project jointly awarded with Washington University, Saint Louis, we are looking for a PhD student (scholarship) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar. The project aims to advance resource management and security in quantum networks. The PhD student will study a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at HBKU. We are looking for candidates with strong academic background (high GPA, publications, etc.) and passion for research

Background in the following topics will be highly appreciated

1. Quantum Communications
2. Quantum Security
3. Resource Management in Quantum Networks

The successful applicant will hold an MSc degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math/Physics, or a closely related area

Knowledge of Communications systems or Cyber security is a must

Location

Doha, Qatar (Hamad Bin Khalifa University)

Salary

12,000 Qatari Riyals (more than 3,200 USD)
